What is PlaceholderCraft?

PlaceholderCraft simply put is a server started by a group of friends, that's been running under different variations and names for a few years. Within the past year the friend group decided on a modded Minecraft playthrough which slowly evolved into our current modpack, and evolved from a friend group only server to the way things are now.

Why PlaceholderCraft as a name?

PHC was the name we chose simply because of an inside joke at the time in all honesty. There is a single image on Arioch's computer that's a prebought template for a MC server banner, that he slapped the text PlaceholderCraft onto as a joke and suggested as the server name. That was the only suggestion the 3 of us behind PHC had that wasn't already used, so we stuck with it.
